then :
Step 1: Make your document for notes. Using Toulmin’s Claim – Data – Warrant, map out the arguments in the two texts you selected from the readings. One of your “articles” should be the podcast episode “Sleep, Weight Gain, Eating, and Health” from “Food, We Need to Talk.” The other two articles will come from the source list from The Maintenance Phase, episode “The ‘Sleep Loss Epidemic.'”

(there may be more than one argument; make this for each argument you see present).

Step 2: Then, organize your notes so that whichever text resonated with you (Article 1 or 2 or the podcast) is listed first and the one that you found less convincing second and third. Again, separate the text into the arguments that you’ve defined in Step 1, but then follow this scheme:
Text 1: Argument/Warrant
Text 2: Counter-argument
Text 3: Rebuttal
Repeat this for as many arguments/counter-arguments and rebuttals as you see in the texts.
If these directions feel confusing (they’re a little awkward), here’s the simple version:
Identify the arguments in the podcast you selected and in the two articles you found (using Toulmin’s method). Then list these arguments so that they are in dialogue/how you would organize them as support for points in an essay.
