Choose one of the EBPs that we are studying. With a partner of your choosing, videotape a role-play with you and your partner, focusing on the chosen intervention. This should be like a portion of a therapy session, using the primary tenets of the EBP. (For example, if you are using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, you would demonstrate skills such as “scaling” and exception-seeking questions). You may use any sort of problem as a starting place; the main point of this assignment is for you to demonstrate intervention skills as they relate to your chosen EBP. Feel free to make up a case scenario and to coach your “client” before filming. The videotape should be 10-15 minutes in length. Upload it here. You will be graded on both the accuracy of the role-play to the intervention model and the use of clinical skills proven to be effective across treatment modalities (demonstration of empathy, appropriate use of closed and open-ended questions, reflection, etc.)
