Students: Your assignment is to visit your local public library* to discover the types of resources, materials, classes, information and opportunities that might support children and families in the community.  Your notes should be handwritten (legible) on the back of this form and you must provide all of the necessary contact information for this branch of the library and include its days and hours of operation.  Look for the unexpected! Many public libraries offer so much more than books; see what you can find about classes hosted there, information about other community resources, spaces for community groups, family events, etc.  Be sure to include the day and hours of operation and the cost (if any) and the requirements imposed by the library to obtain a card and access those resources.

Grading for this assignment will be as follows:
