• Watch this video from SHRM:  (1:50 mins)
• Go to and spend some time clicking on the different sections and reading what is posted.

Submit a 1.5 – 2 page paper to address the following questions:

1. State one new thing you learned about human resource development from the SHRM website. 
2. You are a manager in the workplace.  How could you use this new learning to help benefit yourself, your employees, and your company? 
3. Should companies invest in the development of their employees, and why or why not?
4. How can HRD be linked to the goals and strategies of an organization?
