Problem Statement

❖ A fully-fledged online multiplayer experience was created➢ Two payment models

■ One time up-front■ Free to play with in game purchases (cosmetics)

➢ User count spiked after free to play conversion, but quickly dropped back to prior levels

❖ What do players want? What drives fun?➢ What impacts did the free to play model have?

■ Lowered entry cost but do players feel lack of a commitment? ➢ Impacts of gameplay factors on fun (win, lose, score per min, etc.)➢ Conceptual analysis of what players enjoy in the game, difficult matches,

close matches, etc.
