U.S. Sports Fanatics has a very simple paper-based system and no information infrastructure that is easy to use. So an installation of information infrastructure will help U.S. Sports Fanatics a lot. However, before it can do so, a thorough evaluation has to be completed. The evaluation has to be done along with an analysis of the current information bank, even though it is paper-based. U.S. Sports Fanatics is looking forward to automated information that is readily accessible at all times. The need for CIA (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) matches the line of business that U. S. Sports Fanatics has going for it.

Assignment

One of the first tasks in the development of an enterprise system architecture manual is to evaluate the enterprise information infrastructure and system architecture and processes. The enterprise information infrastructure and systems processes consist of the data and how they are collected, managed, and stored throughout their life cycle.

Tasks to be completed before adding the new content for Week 2:

· Update the Enterprise System Architecture Definition document title page with the new date.

· Update the previously completed sections based on your instructor's feedback.

Week 2: Information Infrastructure Evaluation

For this assignment, you will conduct an in-depth evaluation of the enterprise systems infrastructure and content management processes in your selected organization. If the organization already has an enterprise content management system and formal content management procedures in place, you will document the existing system and procedures. If there are currently no formal system or systems architecture procedures in place, you will document the informal parts of the system that exist.

The project deliverables are as follows:

· Week 2: Information Infrastructure Evaluation

· Content List

· Provide a categorized list of the online sales used for the major organizational processes.

· Enterprise Systems Tools

· Document the tools that are used to capture, manage, store, preserve, and deliver the content.

· Enterprise Systems Processes

· Document the processes' flow technology through the infrastructure.

· Be sure to update your table of contents before submission.

· Name the document "yourname_CS663_IP2.doc."
