Introduction
This class has shown me how important school culture is for students and teachers. School culture is everything, from the physical space to the types of lessons to the relationships that have been formed between teachers, administrators, and students. It also includes the ideas, norms, customs and traditions that each school holds in common. This class has given me a better understanding of what exactly goes into school culture

This class has given me a better understanding of what exactly goes into school culture. School culture is everything, from the physical space to the types of lessons to the relationships that have been formed between teachers, administrators and students. It also includes ideas, norms and traditions held by each school in common.
Overall this class has shown me how important school culture can be both for students and teachers. Students need to feel safe and comfortable in the environment they are in; this will help them flourish in their surroundings. Teachers need to be able to create an environment that is inclusive of everyone and their needs.

School culture is everything, from the physical space to the types of lessons to the relationships that have been formed between teachers, administrators, and students. It also includes ideas, norms, customs and traditions that each school holds in common (e.g., uniforms).
When going into a new environment you need to be ready to adapt and embrace the different cultures inside it. I would like to help create a positive atmosphere one where everyone feels welcome and comfortable. I think that my values can align with some of those that I visit but there might be some differences as well. As long as we are all respectful of each other’s values then we should be able to come up with solutions that are best for all parties involved!

I am open-minded, respectful, friendly and supportive towards others who have different ideas than me or their own systems of belief/values; however if someone does not agree with what I say or do then they must respect this by giving them their full attention without interrupting or participating in conversation until they have finished speaking because silence is golden when discussing any subject matter especially ones which involve sensitive subjects such as race relations between races etc…
Balance is key
Balancing your own system of values and beliefs with that of a school community is crucial to the success of any student. If you’re not willing to adapt, then you will likely struggle in this environment.
The key phrase here? “Respect everyone’s values and beliefs.” This means that if you have different beliefs than others do, it’s okay! You should still treat people with respect and kindness because they are just as valuable as anyone else. They may not agree with everything about themselves or their lives (especially if they aren’t very open minded), but at least try!
Conclusion
Overall, this class has been an eye-opening experience. It has given me a better understanding of what exactly goes into school culture. School culture is everything, from physical space to lesson plans and relationships formed between teachers and administrators as well as students themselves! It also includes ideas, norms and customs that each school holds in common.
