Store Manager

Job Qualifications:

 

College degree, five years of supervisory experience, working knowledge of at least six FFH store departments.

 

Assistant Managers

There are two Assistant Managers who report to a Store Manager.

 

One Assistant Manager is generally responsible for inventory control, store appearance, and ordering.

One Assistant Manager is responsible for the people side of the operation, including hiring, promotions, salary issues, and staff reviews.

Both Assistant Managers assume Store Manager responsibilities in their absence.

Job Qualifications:

 

·      College degree or within one year of obtaining it, three years of supervisory experience, and working knowledge of at least three FFH store departments.

Shift Supervisors

The four Shift Supervisors report directly to the Store Manager and are generally the floor managers responsible for daily operations.

 

 

Job Qualifications:

 

Two-year degree, two years of supervisory experience, working knowledge of at least three FFH store departments.

Department Supervisors

The twelve Department Supervisors report to the two Assistant Managers based on the twelve functional areas (such as hardware, agriculture supplies, clothing). Each department also has an Assistant Department Supervisor who works for the Department Supervisor, and they act as Department Supervisors in their absence.

 

Job qualifications:

 

Two-year degree, completion of corporate supervisory training (a Web-based program) and at least two years of experience in the selected FFH department.

Assistant Department Supervisors

One year of college and working on two-year degree, at least one year of experience in the selected FFH department.
