• The facilitator must do the readings prior to the week when the rest of the class will read them.
• The facilitator will develop 3-5 discussion questions about the reading to be submitted for approval the same Tuesday that the readings become available to the rest of the class.
• I will approve the questions by Thursday, 12pm.
• The facilitator will then post the question on his or her groups’ discussion board no later than Friday at 12pm so that the members of each group can engage with the questions, post subsequent replies, and answer by the following Tuesday (four days later) at 12pm.

To receive full credit, facilitators must:

• Include 3-5 open-ended discussion questions
• Meaningfully respond to all the group members’ responses to the facilitator’s questions (not necessarily the group members’ comments to the other members). This can be done by asking follow-up questions, commenting on their answers, connecting their comments to previous readings etc. The facilitator’s follow-up comments are due the following Tuesday, a week after the deadline for the group members’ posts, which would be two weeks after the readings were originally assigned.
