A report of a 1/2 day observation of a teacher and classroom describing the classroom environment and structure, motivational system, teacher characteristics, and a summary of one lesson.  Your observation should include an introduction that includes the information you will be discussing in your paper as well as the grade level and type of school.  Using the information obtained from the chapters on development (Chapter 2), classroom management (7,14) motivation (13) and learning (8, 9, 10, 11) discuss the developmental level of the students, teaching style utilized by the teacher,  , and their motivation and classroom management techniques. How are the students grouped in the classroom?  What are the academic accommodations made for children with disabilities in the classroom.   Be specific and relate the information to material covered in class as well as in your book. You also need to describe the content of one lesson including the objectives, teaching techniques used and your opinion as to the efficacy of the lesson and student engagement.   Your conclusion should include a summary of what you saw as well as your impressions.
