This is a re-writing of a paper… please see professors comments. I have attached rubric and assignment

Good start; however, keep in mind, this is not a research paper, but an Investigative Plan.  Consider this as the how-to and what-to-do on this case.  Your Investigative Plan is too generic. 

You currently do not meet project requirements.  But, you can get there.

For MP Consideration:

•  Tools:  Specific hardware (e.g. computers, imagers, etc) and software tools (e.g. FTK).
  • A table laying out what all you will need works well.
•  Budget:  Budget out the specific tools and personnel.
  •  Table and sum out the total.
•  Timeline:  This is a breakdown of the time for the identification of digital evidence, imaging of the devices (2 computers and USB), examination of the evidence, the report(s), and presenting your findings.  You will want this to present to everyone; this will help limit questions that will impede your imaging and examination.  A table works well here.
•  Questions for Team Meeting:  What do you know?  What do you need to know?  Definitely ask about the authority to search AND ALWAYS ASK FOR THE LEGAL AUTHORITY PAPERWORK.  What else?  Maybe who is the main suspect(s)? Maybe some safety questions?  What else?

For EP Consideration:

• Keywords: Keywords are text strings you will use in your examination of the data.  The keywords should be associated with the alleged crime and the suspect(s).  So, for example, if the alleged crime is identity theft, keywords may be social security and bank account.  What else?
• Key Personnel and Roles:  The idea is to make sure you have the personnel needed at the scene.  It is unclear as to who your team members are.
