Kathy was interested in purchasing a bicycle for exercise, following the birth of her third child.  Because she was on a limited budget she was searching for the best deal she could find.  She located a suitable bike at the Jax store, with a sign, which read, New Trek 24 inch womens model 35s bikes for only $1385.  Kathy also found, at REI, a nice bike with a sign which read, Used, 2017, Schwinn womens model 870, red 24 inch bike, serial no. 86534, for $1050.  Both fit her budget and Kathy liked them.

(1) Kathy went to the Jax store to buy one of the Trek bikes, and said, I accept, but the store refused to sell her a bike.

(2) She then went to REI to buy this Schwinn bike, and said, I accept, but the store refused to sell her 

the bike.

Frustrated, and tired of walking, Kathy wants to sue both stores for not selling her the bicycles. 

Using Critical thinking, to include rules and definitions, analyze and distinguish the offers and 

acceptances at both stores (separately), and determine if any agreements exist or not.  Also, which, if 

either of the agreements, should be enforced by the court?   Remember, do not re-state the question or
