For the charitable service, write it as if you donated your time and energy singing in the church choir for easter and christmas services. This is charitable as we also travel singing to retirement homes and other orginizations that need some joy during the holidays.

I normally do a big food drive for one charity and encourage you to help me fill the back of my truck.  However, this semester, I am trying to limit contact for all involved.   

So, before December 7th make 3 people smile.  Do something nice for them, help them, compliment them, clean the toilet for your parent/spouse/partner/roommate, I do not care what, just make their life better somehow. Then you also must write a 400-word essay and post it before 11:59PM on December 7th when the semester ends.  Tell me about what you did as part of it, but also tie in something you learned in class (and answer your classes question below).

For World Religions, what does some religion or text say about helping? 

As normal you can also donate something or some of your time to a charity of your choice, just tell me about in your essay that you write.  Or donate some food/time/money to your local church or food bank or any type of charity you like. And if any of you really do not have a dollar to spend, I understand, do the essay, and if you like, go talk to Carson in Union or Jenni or Rachael in Rolla about things we already have set up at ECC to help you.  

And since I love animals so much, you can also donate time or money at a humane society or city pound. Dont let life pass you by, get involved!
