• By Friday of Module 5, follow these instructions to make your first post:

• Read the “Top Pro & Con Arguments” of one of the following micro sites from ProCon.org (Right-click–>Open in new tab):

• College Education: Is a college education worth it?

• Prescription Drug Ads: Should prescription drugs be advertised directly to consumers?

• School Uniforms: Should students have to wear school uniforms?

• In a single sentence, state your opinion on the issue you read about. You cannot sit on the fence; you must take take a position either for or against.

• In complete sentences, summarize the three arguments from ProCon.org that you found most convincing.

• Make sure to state “According to ProCon.org” for each of the three arguments.

• End your post by copying the following citation and adapting it to fit the ProCon.org page that you read:

• Attempt to find a classmate that chose the same issue you chose. You may respond to any classmate, though.

• Identify any similarities and/or differences between the supporting points and the supporting points that your partner chose.

• Explain why you made the choices you made, focusing on the differences between your choices and your partner’s.

• End your response with a question asking your partner for further clarification on his or her points and/or choices.
